Candle Care
To enjoy the most from your candle follow my tips!
When lighting your candle for the first time ensure it melts to the edges of your jar. This may take up to 3 – 4 hours.
Simple but vital, trim your wick to approximately 5mm after each burn.
Avoid burning for longer than 4 hours at a time, you can always have another on hand to rotate!
Discard your candle when there is 1cm of wax left – never burn to the very bottom as your jar could potentially shatter!
Candle Warnings
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Never leave a burning candle in reach of children or fur babies.
- Keep on a stable surface. I recommend placing your candle on a beautiful heatproof tray.
- Never move a burning candle.
- Do not extinguish your flame using the lid.
- Never burn to the very bottom, always leave 1cm of wax in the bottom of your jar. Time for a new candle!
- Always refer to the safety warning label attached to the bottom of your candle jar.
Reed Diffuser Care
Unscrew your bottle and remove plastic plug over the sink in case of any spills. Re-screw the black collar back on, insert your reeds and leave for approximately 1 hour before carefully flipping the reeds to soak up all the fragrant liquid.
Turn your reeds weekly or more often if required.
Keep in a draft free area.
If followed correctly, your reed diffuser should last 3-4 months.
Reed Diffuser Warnings
- Place your diffuser on a stable surface.
- Keep away from children and fur babies.
- Do not allow fragrance oil to drip on any surfaces.
- Do not allow fragrance oil to touch your skin or eyes. In case of contact rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Always refer to the safety warning label attached to the bottom of your diffuser bottle.
Wax Melts
Place approximately 2 squares of your melts into your melt unit.
When required, clean out and add fresh squares.
Wax Melt Warnings
- Never leave melt unit unattended.
- Keep away from children and fur babies.
- Do not add water or any other substance to your wax.
- Do not allow melts to touch your skin or eyes. In case of contact rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Due to the high amount of fragrance in the melts, they should never be used with a direct flame and should only be used in traditional oil burners or electric melt warmers.
